The mixture mostly consists of filler (lactose perhaps), binder, (the glue that haolds it together) and a few other bits and pieces depending on how clever you are – some hvae disintigrents iand dispersants in that make sure it doesn’t al sit on one part of the stomach, others have clever tech that allows different parts to be active at different times. Then there’s the lube, which helps it go down you’re throat and also out of the press quickly without fallign apart.
This mixture is carefull calculated, and once the recipe decided, is granulated – which means heavily mixed so there is uniform API and excipient through the entire batch, and then pressed – where a calculated volume of this mixture is fed into a tube and under very high pressure to plates called the dies are slammed together – the binder creates the pill. The dies have the design and shape. It’s then ejected and the next one loaded.
you don’t need Emcocel Microcrystalline Cellulose. Most guys use starch. It is used by some, it depends on the properties of the other required excipients and if it is most suitable.
