TBH I’m not surprised that soldiers of any nation might do drugs (why worry about your health when your government can risk your life to achieve its political ends?) but this is just asking to be caught…
Army investigates ‘drug’ footage
The Army has begun an investigation into pictures showing soldiers allegedly sniffing drugs.
Mobile phone video shows a number of young men snorting white powder while others cheer them on.
The soldiers are said to be members of the Royal Scots Borderers 1st Battalion Royal Regiment of Scotland.
The pictures were passed to the military by the Daily Record newspaper and the Army confirmed that an internal inquiry had been launched.
The investigation is being conducted by the Special Investigation Branch of the Royal Military Police.

The Daily Record has supplied one sequence of the pictures to other media organisations.
The 27-second clip shows a young man who appears to be dressed in an army-issue sports kit snorting a line of white powder on a mirror while others cheer and laugh loudly.
At the beginning, a voice is heard shouting: “I’ll send it to you.”
Another camera phone can be seen filming in the background as the powder is inhaled.
A spokesman for the Army in Scotland said: “The armed forces and army take a zero-tolerance approach to drug taking, particularly A-class drugs.”
Soldiers are randomly drug-tested.
