ive been a dirty smoker for four years now and cant wait for the UK ban in june, cos i recon it will be the best time to quit,

whats everyones views on the ban? also at raves i tend to chain smoke like theres no tomorrow, do any non-smokers get bothered by people like me polluting their parties?

definately – there is little more enjoyable and relaxing then having a pint and a cig down the local with your mates. luckily my local is owned by a mate, so the 18 factor doesnt come into it – but everyone seems to agree, a pint and a fag is just… plain enjoyable.

Its going to be awful! The only time I smoke in public is with a beer in my other hand. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! 😥 OR when I’m beaned up in a club smoking like a chimney… OMG this going to be awful only just realised.

in the morning after many fags and pints… fag and a cuppa tea!

just found out my work is getting rid of our smoking shed so i have to walk off site and go down the road… i guess it just means longer fag breaks

fag breaks, not in lunches, are getting shunned, as the nonsmokers think its not fair, im not sure i feel like that if i want a break ill just go and sit down, if my manager comes apst ill just be like sitting break BBBBBBBIIIAATTTTCCCCCCHHHHH, then get a nice cold concrete slab and whack her round the face…….i wish

While I was visiting UK we had a drink in a no-smoking bar…

It sucked,and we couldn’t wait to get out :laugh_at::laugh_at:

But we had dinner at a restaurant later that night and I think it was very nice not having to sit in a smokey room and eat..

I know that in the restaurant I used to work in , there were sometimes parties where the guests weren’t allowed to smoke :hopeless:

Could sometimes be a big problem for us in the kitchen and the waiters , because people went outside to smoke ..

Witch ment that not all the guests were present when we was supposed to serve the food..

Had a wedding once where the bride went missing (she was smoking outside) And the bride is always the person who get served first..So there we were , 6 waiters , waiting for the bride to come back while the food got cold , and people complained about it afterwards:hopeless:

Ah at work we are all entitled to breaks so to get around people moaning about me smoking i take a non smoker out and go for a walk, infact the non smokers sometimes go and sit in the cafe and have a coffee so its all fair raaa

mmm fair do’s starlaugh i used to work at waitrose, and they would have none of that, but thats cos waitrose is strict tho, they told me to polish my shoes infront of everyone :apathy:
