Police said the kit could tell if people had been handling drugs or had just come into contact with them. The club said it had an anti-drugs policy.
Many people tested register a very low reading as traces of drugs can be found on money or cash machines, officers said.

Sixteen positive tests were carried out for heroin or cocaine out of 90 people tested outside the club.
One search resulted in a man being arrested and cautioned for possession of cocaine.

Pc Kris Hall said: “Thirteen of the 16 positive hits were within the first hour, so we feel that word got around and helped deter anyone involved with drugs from coming to the club”.

Club owner Neil Tompsett said: “We are very pleased with the success of the operation.
“We have taken a zero tolerance stance towards drugs use and hope this will go to enhance the club’s reputation in the area.”

I don’t understand. :crazy:

Having traces found wouldnt count as possesion would it? You could be searched, but that happens anyway when you enter a club/ if the police have a suspicion… and i think ‘suspicion’ can mean pretty much anything. So what difference does it make?

Ah they are popping up everywhere,

I still think the technique of waiting till someone is fucked, dragging them outside, searching them and then blowing any powders you find in a wrap into their faces will carry on :hopeless:

i dont get it….
the coke comes in a baggy, to the card, chopped up by another card, snorted through a note….surely its really easy to dodgy this method of testing?

nope because you are handling the note, bankcard etc

they do state that some of them haven’t actually handled any but have got it from touching things like a cash machine etc

i could very easily do coke without it touching my hands soon as people get wise to what clubs are doing it people will get wise as to how toa void getting caught with the exception of weed i could do any drug i wanted to without touching it (few moments thought to make sure thats true and it is)

edit: MUSHROOMS but i doubt they show up and its not that magical time of year

i do all my drugs with latex gloves a safety mask and a hard hat

“be legitimate

be safe”

PPE equipment isnt just for drugs……its for those badass evenings when the pigs stick testing equipment up ur ass
