ecstasy 18th, LSD 14th, cannabic 11th, alcohol 5th raaa
Yeah mate that was quite interesting to watch…
This program might be on iPlayer at somepoint, the woman presenting it got fucked on her first joint and had to be taken outside the coffee shop :laugh_at:
that was interesting to watch……………..only thing i couldn’t quite get my head around…………..when she was doing the test with the pure THC and then the mix of thc and cannabinol………….i thought that cannabinol was THC (Tetra hydra cannabinol) or is it just the C component of THC??? :hopeless:

It was good to watch. Seemed fairly balanced, although she was a shit test subject who was clearly either exaggerating or affected way too much in relation to your usual casual smoker.
I liked the show where she didnt was for 6 weeks or so. then .made a perfume from her sweat and grime, and tryed to flog it to the french

Boothy, I did see that. They made some decent observations here and there but overall I thought it was a load of bollocks.
They made no distinction between cocaine and crack. To me, that is a bit like classing opium as no different to heroin.
On the positive side they did point out that many popular controlled drugs are a lot less harmful than legal ones. And it is nice to see the debate widened by the media.

Yes, I also noted that. Cocaine and crack are vastly different.
It wasn’t brilliant – for example it didn’t take regular use really into account. If someone used LSD as regular as Cannabis I doubt it’d be 14th.
However, compared to most programs about drugs, it did a better job of fighting the case for re-classification.

coacine and crack sre differant but id only have put crack in second and coke in third place anyway so there just really saving themselves a spot instead of having coke as a powder and base form down in the same survey

Yeah, it did make a mockery of current classification.
Damn, if someone used LSD like many use cannabis they would either be sitting on Gods right hand or in the nut house or both.
They also dispellled some of the ridiculous urban myths that still persist.
I haven’t seen it. I should try and pick it up on the web somwhere.
I think though, to the point Ive quoted, unfortunately the programs such as these only make such shows to just be controversial. Im not really sure they do it with the Intention of “revealing the truth” like they give watcher the impression of.
It could be just me being cynical, but I doubt they do it because they truly believe what they show. However at least, still, the people watching are different, and will hopefully be taught by the program enough to know the truths, and make a more educated opinion on drugs today…
It would be interesting to meet a few blokes and woman that come up with the show Idea. I wonder If they do feel strongly like us, or If they come up with the most controversially watchable Ideas. Like next week it will be Animal Fuckers: Is It Their Fault? Which will make you feel sorry for people with attractions to their dog with some clever evidence of the way the mind works, ect ect…
You get me point 😉

No Bestiality was condoned In the making of this post :laugh_at:
Dom, you should watch it on bbc iplayer.
I agree that progammes like this like to sensationalize but to be fair to this one wasn’t too bad. Overall, I reckon it prepares the masses, albeit bit by bit, for a widening of the debate. And as the years move on the openess of the debate improves, so I ain’t knocking it.
