yea there sleeping tabs, i dont like them as they dont seem to work on me just do the opposite and keep me up!They also give you a weird metalic taste in your mouth like your suking on 2p’s..ive been told and seen that most people just get knocked out by em and dont experiance any good feelings as i find you do with valium etc also i find you still wake up groggy on zopiclone aka zimavane. They are addictive but not as much as benzo’s and you still end up getting a tollerance.hope this is some help.:crazy_dru

my m8 used to take them and they are addictive .. and if you don’t try and sleep you will be liverly … but im told if you actualy try and sleep it helps … they give you a copper taste the naxt day and any thing you eat will tast like copper as well … :yakk:

I hated Zopiclone, vile metallic taste after taking them and addictive.

    Lormetazepam much better.

    temazapam, …

what does temazepam do?? i found some the other night whilst buzzing from charlie and needing sleep, i looked thru the medicine draw and saw ’causes drouswyness’ on the bottle so i did some reading on wikipedia and read that theyre pretty safe and did 20mg. knocked me out a treat.

but i read theyre thwe most comkmonly abused of the ‘azepam’ family of drugs, but who’d wanna abuse them?? fair play they help you sleep, but all they do when im awake is make me a bit floaty and very relaxed.

zopiclone are not physically addictive, but can be habbit forming
    (like any sleepers)

if you take them, for sleep, you need to go to bed with in 20 mins in order to go to sleep as they’re not the type of sleeper that actually ‘knocks you out’ just make you drowsy – and you can easily ‘fight it’
and they do leave a metalic taste in your mouth the next day

temazepam, diazepam, lorazepam and nitrazepam are all from the benzodiazepine family,
all generally work in the same way but are physically addictive and can lead to withdrawals if taken persistantly over a longish period of time,

sometimes needing an actual detox / slow reduction as withdarwals can be nasty and include fitting

    hope that helps 😉

they are hugely ‘abused / misused’ – as are all benzo’s

lots of people use them in conjunction with alcohol, crack, heroin but some people stick with just them

like most drugs they help people feel emotionally numb, help with anxiety symptoms and make you feel nice and floaty, in the short term are initially habit forming and then can become physically addictive

like any drug they give instant gratification and are thought better – in the short term than actually doing the difficult work to find out why your feeling shit, anxious etc but can be difficult in the long term

after reading tank girls posts … i would try and go down a diferant road all together if you can …. the reason being that i thought zopiclone was as addictive if not more so than lorazipam as my m8 used to be on both at diferant times in his life .. and the only one he seemed to cain was zopiclone … alltho he only took loads of them as he loved the way it made him feel wilst awake .. alltho he acted like a hyper smack head on them …he used to love them and take loads … benzos are worce by the looks of it alltho the imeadiate effects are not as bad .. it seems the long term ramifications are ..:group_hug

i dont cain them all the time mate (well probably a bit more than i should…). just good when you need to sleep or if your feeling a bit edgy on a comedown. and at a festival they are a must imo.

    they are nice though 😉

but like everything – in moderation….

well benzos are probably better for stim come downs than ziclodine … but thats the same reason alot of ravers get hooked on smack … to get rid of the come down … only answer is if your taking them to sleep after doing a stim … dont cain the stims so much you get hooked on any downer …a come down with out the edge taken off it is nothing compared to a good few years addicted to something … and stims on the whole are mentaly addictive … depresants are more physicaly adictive … if you got a strong mind .. getting off stims is easy .. but no matter how strong your mind is .. if your pysicaly addicted to some thing … your fucked m8 … just keep that in mind 😉

    is it similar to zolpidem?

    yeh, think so –

its similar in the fact it isnt physically addictive, not a benzo, but I think you can get more of a buzz from it than zopiclone, and its more of one that ‘knocks you out’ – but I may be wrong

    here’s what Wiki says

Zolpidem is a prescription medication used for the short-term treatment of insomnia, as well as some brain disorders. It is a short-acting nonbenzodiazepine hypnotic that potentiates gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), an inhibitory neurotransmitter, by binding to benzodiazepine receptors which are located on the gamma-aminobutyric acid receptors.[1] It works quickly (usually within 15 minutes) and has a short half-life (2–3 hours). Some trade names of zolpidem are Ambien,[2] Hypnogen, Myslee.[3] Nimadorm, Nitrest (a play of words on “Night rest”), Sanval, Stilnoct, Stilnox,[4] Zolfresh, and Zolt. Its hypnotic effects are similar to those of the benzodiazepine class of drugs, but it is molecularly distinct from the classical benzodiazepine molecule and is actually classified as an imidazopyridine. Flumazenil, a benzodiazepine receptor antagonist, which is used for benzodiazepine overdose, can also reverse zolpidem’s sedative/hypnotic effects.
