How quickly do people think its possible to become a fully blown alcoholic?
odd question tinged with perception..
yeah subjective is bang on the nail, i didnt want to get caught up in technical definitions. Thanks 🙂
depends what you define alcoholic aswell.
some clear signs:
the morning after an alcohol binge, you start drinking again
cannot have a good time without it
i only realised i was an alchoholic when i tried to stop drinking .. i can go a week with out it with out a problem .. if i try hard … went a month with out drinking recently .. then started again on the weekends … it took me a few years to realise i was actualy an alchoholic … at first i knew i was drinking a lot .. but as i said .. it wasn’t till i tryed to cut down/stop that noticed i was actualy addicted
Im finding it hard to get through the day without half a bottle of whiskey. Congrats on havin a month off, sounds like a sensible idea.
By this i really ment how quickly is it possible to become phsyically addicted/dependent, but didnt explain myself properly and tbh I think I just come across as a twat.
thanks
drinking will kill your dopamine making you more depressed, need to kick the addiction before it gets worse. eat healthy, exercise, you’ll start to feel alot happier
Iv only started drinking very recently hence why I was woundering how quickly it will be a problem. Iv eaten healthily, exercised everyday nearly a year. I dont have run of the mill depression though, its not a quick prozac and power jogging fix sadly.
It wouldnt be safe with all the other medication im takeing anyway
