Does anyone know if it makes any difference what temperature your liquid ‘cid is when you drop it?
Know a few people who seem to think that you should leave it out of the fridge for a couple of hours to get to room temperature before you drop it as the effect will be stronger.
This seems unintuitive to me, it will increase to body temperature anyway. Unless a sudden temperature change from 4C-37C causes some of it to denature perhaps.
Anyone got any thoughts on this?
I know people who like to keep their liquid in the fridge for long term storage, as its quite a fragile compound and exposure to extremes of heat, and light will slowly cause it to degrade in strength, but tbh I have had bottles that have sat in warm tents all summer, and then in someones warm room all winter and still been pokey enough a year later..
Although I am sure for long term storage its probably a fairly reconnised approach I wouldn’t worry too much about it. I definitely wouldn’t be concerned about cooling it just to take.. In fact the rapid change in temperature may even cause some of the acid to degrade making it weaker.. (fuck knows tho, I’m no scientist)
