reverse tolerance occurs with amfetamine-type stimulants. After not doing any for ages, doing even a smaller amount has a strong effect. (this is what sometimes a lot of profesional people and celebs to OD as many stay clean when completing an important project and celebrate afterwards!)
However I find small bits are actually quite good for “getting stuff done” – ditto with mephedrone..
