I have a box of TRAMADOL 50 mg and looked once if it could replace my methadone “addiction” for a day, in case
something would happen that I stand without my prescripted methadone.
For me, the answer was clearly NO.
Normally I take just 25 mg in the morning and 25 mg in the evening methad., which are very light doses,
but in the afternoon after having taken every few hours more and more of these “tablets” (don’t know the name u give to these things),
I had to take my dose of methadone in rush , cuz I was begining to get the “lovely symptoms of turkey”.
SO I JUST COUNT AND THEY ARE MISSING 19 TABLETS IN THE TRAMADOL 50 mg BOX !!!!
I am not a Doctor to give any recomandation on that,
but I would think that if people are able to stop there addiction with tramadol, it is certainly much better than beginning a fucking methadon program
and still being on it since 1992.
If people want a good advice to stop their heroin addiction. be sure that u gonna stop before beginning any other medicine, cuz u can be quickly aeddicted
to an other opoiods. when u feel ready to stop make quickly a decrease of the substitutive medicine u choose to help stopping ur adddiction, but dont do 4 days methadone, 2 days getting welll high again with heroin , and continue and so on , cuz this is the worse plan to do.
U should be ready to stop in maximum of a month with the help of methadone for example by decreasing every day the amount of methadon (without doing the error to touch even once heroin during that time), so at the end of the month, u are away from heroin and won^t have feel any big pain.
It is also easier the first daysto decrease bigger quantities of methadon and at the end going slower witzh the little doses
FOR THE FIRST TIME SOMEONE TRY TO STOP HEROIN, IF TRAMADOL IS ENOUGH FOR HIM TO CALM HIS PAIN, CHOOSE IT, CUZ METHADONE IS MUCH MORE DIDFFICULT TO GET OFF THAN HEROIN
