A fair few people were getting similar effects when mephedrone was legal. they are alarming but not life-threatening, and disappear when the user reduces usage or gets sufficient sleep.
the problem is that like ketamine, many users do not do this and redose / go on binges. nearly all the health problems are indeed caused by lack of sleep and food as muos says, also normal illnesses picked up due to mephedrone stressing the immune system. bear in mind this is the season for summer colds and hayfever, which can be particular nasty on a comedown.
as for cut mephedrone, even by late 2009 the stuff was varying wildly in quality particularly when purchased at street level. TBH other than small proportions naphyrone there is not much gain in adding other RCs which are more expensive than mephedrone (though I suspect butylone got introduced into later batches).
