FIVE men have received jail sentences totalling 72 years for their part in a violent robbery in which a man was injected with horse tranquiliser. The men were convicted at the Old Bailey in London today (November 18) for carrying out the crime at a home in Linnet, Orton Wistow, Peterborough, on the morning of April 29 this year.
Arkadiusz Kwiatkowski, 31, received a 15 year prison sentence, Michal Kwiatkowski, 26, received 15 years, Tomasz Marecki, received 15 years, Yaser Amin, 26, was jailed for 15 years and Rafal Dzidowski, 27, received 12 years.
The court heard the men broke into the home at about 7am, entered a bedroom and tied up the victim, a 27-year-old man. They injected him in the neck with liquid ketamine and took him downstairs while ordering his girlfriend to remain upstairs.
They demanded money but he did not respond and he was injected again and threatened.
Police were called at just before 7.20am by a member of the public who said four men were trying to steal a vehicle from a garage at the address while the front door of the property had been forced.
Officers arrived and arrested Arkadiusz Kwiatkowski, who is from Enfield, London, and Dzidowski and Amin, who are both from Reading. They were in a black Audi A3 parked near the address, which was also found to contain a large quantity of cash, cable ties, a balaclava, mobile phones, gloves and a map.
Michal Kwiatkowski from Wood Green, London, and Marecki, from Walthamstow, London, were arrested a short distance away.
All the men denied being involved in the incident but the five were today found guilty on charges of robbery.
Arkadiusz Kwiatkowski, Michal Kwiatkowski, Marecki and Amin were convicted of administering a noxious substance. Dzidowski was cleared of that charge.
Arkadiusz Kwiatkowski was convicted of burglary with violence, the other four were acquitted on that count.
Detective Constable Liam Sweeney, who investigated, said: “This was a violent and shocking crime which left the victim and his girlfriend extremely shaken.
“They forced their way in while the victims were still asleep before binding, gagging and injecting him in their bid to steal money.
“The sentence given today reflects the seriousness of the offence.”
^^ well with a name like that I guess he had to become a copper :laugh_at:
That’s some nasty shit, what a waste of k… how could he get them money in that state.
when I read the cops statement saying “he did not respond” my initial thoughts were “WTF did the robbers think would happen?”
thats the first time though in about 20 years of amateur criminology (a sideline interest when I was more involved in the rave scene) I’ve heard of ket being used in this manner..
there are a lot of nasty crimes though of this nature against younger folk who might have done well in life and maybe got a decent house/cash or able to afford some computer or music equipment. Be careful who your “friends” are….
nasty
even in the so-called “good old days” of the 1990s I remember people would get pilled up and loved up, invite all sorts of randoms to their house for afterparties – and a few days later their houses would get robbed and stripped of decks/music equipment, computers, mobile phones…

Why inject him with K? Odd behavior..
yep those were my thoughts as well especially as the victim had already been overpowered and tied up, but TBH some criminals simply enjoy the power and control over their victims as much as or more than the money or property they main gain from a robbery than this..
it might also be an attempt to hint the victim was involved with drugs – a while back in my old town there was a shooting case and the suspect claimed in open court one of my high school mates was helping bring in illegals from Pakistan (he wasn’t!) but the papers reported it so my mates shop got grief from racists :hopeless: – this bloke was going down for murder so he wanted to fuck up as many people he knew as possible!
isn’t it counter productive to spend money on k if you don’t actually end up robbing the guy of anything? :S
that’s such a stupid idea, jeeez.
I think they did rob him, getting a car and some cash – and made such a racket doing so that a neighbour called 999 and they were all caught! seemed like more brutal but dumb criminals TBH..
should have listened better in school and make their own money.
see, if everyone thought like me, the world would be an awesome place and oh so logical. like if we made car airbags out of marshmellows and you could eat your way out of them once they’ve saved you 8) mmm.
hahahaha out of all the things to in ject someone with special K is possibly the worse, especially if you are ganna want him to answer questions for you….
what silly robbers
