So just last night I did some research about Tylenol Pm. I found out that diphenhydramine is water soluble while acetaminophen is not, so I figured that I could perform a CWE on tylenol pm. I did this on 28 pills of Tylenol pm or 700mg dph and 14000mg APAP. It looked promising as there was a significant amount of powder left in the coffee filter I used which I assumed to be the APAP. I drank the liquid which I assumed contained nothing but dph and a little APAP. Now this was my first experience with dph and it was as expected, f*cking awful. I did this all around 12am last night and it has been a little over 24 hours since I took it.

Ever since it kicked in last night I have had some discomfort in my lower right abdomen. I haven’t had any pain at all but this discomfort is worrying me. Is it just some after effects of the dph or could I have acetaminophen poisoning? I haven’t had any of the symptoms other than discomfort in my abdomen.

Also I know I could easily get dph from benadryl but I had none nor any means of getting any and all I had in the house was tylenol pm. I have no plans to mess with dph or anything with acetaminophen ever again. Anyone that feels like flaming me for being such an idiot, I understand because I have been telling that to myself all night and all day.

just for the info for people from europe, acetaminophen is the american name for paracetamol

contact your nearest acute healthcare facility asap, if its not your local doctor go to the walk in clinic or ER. This sort of thing can kill you days later even if you feel relatively well or have only minor discomfort. In England there is now a resctriction on how much you can buy at one go as too many folk used it as a suicide method.

Ive heard 5 pills max at a time is safest

You need to get to your emergency room, tell them exactly what you did and hope you don’t have any liver damage.

Yeah go to your docs/hospital. If you have eaten way too much paracetamol then you could be in trouble and the real bad effects aren’t immediate, besides that you took 200mg over the LS50 of diphenhydramine!

You really need to see a doctor immediately.Acetaminophen can really cause cause life-threatening illness and long-term liver problems or failure. Actually, this year, a number of people might wonder about why there is apparently such a dearth of Tylenol on pharmacy shop shelves. For the past couple of years, there have been a series of Tylenol shortages, which are continuing though a lot of generic brand acetaminophen is accessible.

In America its Tylenol.but yes see a doc.ive seen a few liver failure due to hydrocodone with apap.that shit plays hell on your liver.n better to b safe than sorry.also if this can get u fucked up an u like it,u could always be a Lil smarter an just buy benedryl

No he didn’t take 200mg more than the LD50 as it’s pretty much impossible that he weighs 1kg. The LD50 is 500mg/kg. You can buy Diphenhydramine without any other active ingredients in products such as Benadryl and Sleep-eze. I hope you’re ok and don’t need a liver transplant. Always try to stay away from acetaminophen/paracetamol and aspirin as they are VERY toxic.

I don’t understand half of what you’ve written here (blue light forum is good – I’m guessing as I don’t understand half of what’s written on their either- but they seem to know their chemical formulas!)

But as others have said DO NOT fuck with paracetamol, aspirin or other such medications
They are extremely toxic

I hope you have sought medical advice as I have known of people dying from what would be considered ‘small’ amounts (a 14-15 yr old girl taking 8 paracetamol tablets died a few days later after ‘overdosing’ and not telling anyone til it was too late and her liver gave up etc)

My mistake, I must of misread the ls50, or read it from somewhere that didn’t state it was per kg. Well spotted, as I hate giving out the wrong info on things! At least it’s better then saying the ls50 was more then it actually is. O.o
