the only rational reason (I’m not a chemistry expert though) for this shit being in pills is that either its cheaper or easier to synth than proper MDMA, or occurs when a MDMA synth is fucked up. the chemists don’t want to lose the value of the hard to get precursor chemicals and as they are often already looking at anything from 10 years prison (in a liberal country) to the death penalty (in Asian countries where such things are made).
also a mixture of MDMA, amfetamine, cathinones and piperazines would be cheaper to press than MDMA but would put at least some users “over the edge”.
I’m not a conspiracy theorist but SOCA openly admit that they consider dangerous/contaminated drugs on the market to be a victory as it means Border Force have sucesfully limited incoming supplies, and if the cops let these things go to market even for a few batches they act as a bad news source to deter others. its no better (in fact more underhand) than Malaysia or Singapore hanging kids for drugs (which they now rarely do) but is supported by a great deal of the non drug using public. It disgusts me to herar of many British folk celebrating Malaysia’s (former) hardline stance or the death penalty for personal drug use, especially as its being used by other nations to fit up dissenters and activists.
but the young couple selling PMA pills in the Netherlands were the only drugdealers of that low level who got a prison sentence for pills and it was to punish them for selling poison rather than pills!
