Yeah, doesn’t really work like that in UK. Of course the police need a sufficient reason to obtain a warrant to search your house but if they find that you are cultivating cannabis you’ll definitely get nicked.

You are lucky to live in a place where the police seem to be maybe a little more liberal and understanding about growing for personal use.

Tried growing my own few years back, bloody greenflies got most of it, only had 3 plants ( 4 seeds but 1 didnt grow ), harvest was crap TBH, a lot of time & effort for very little. I didnt go the whole hydroponics route though, the set up for that is quite expensive and I dont have the room for it so just grew a few naturally.

Problems that put me off trying again…

1) Smell – Mine were indoor and the whole house started to smell of weed including my work clothes

2) Paranoia -Both from the smell and having plants on my window sill in sight of the neighbours

3) Time & Effort to yield ratio was rubbish

Remember cultivation is illegal in the UK, and although the penalties are low for a few plants if you are a regular smoker you need many plants to be self sufficient and an expensive pro set up to get a decent yield, get caught trying grow a years supply and you will probably get done for intent to supply which can have high penalties.

bollox, atleast in the UK – what country are you in?
as someone close to me was caught growing 10 plants, for personal, and they were trying to send them inside for a stretch, advising them they were looking for atleast 6 months, and even moved courts from magistrates to crown,
this person has no previous convictions and was not asking for any other to be taken in to consideration, just was a bit silly and left a window open in the summer and an off duty police man walked past, smelt – and they raided them a few days later. They didnt believe 10 plants was personal, that they must have been dealing (they wernt) and they wanted to know who they were ‘working for’ ……..PMSL!!!!

They got suspended term and 200 hours community service and probation – now that in its self fucks up your life for a while as we couldnt go partying at the weekends for months as they were doing their community service at the weekend on top of working 5 days a week – so dont be so silly – it is illegal and they do prosecute!!!!!!!

I guess it depends on how much you smoke a day….. maybe..

Yea it’s not TOO bad in the UK, when I was at uni in Plymouth, we got raided as apparently a few houses down was supposed to get raided for something else, then they smelt the plants and the smoke because we always left the window open when we smoked, so they gave us a knock on the door… then busted in the place forcing us all upstairs while shouting at us like “Where are the plants!” and shit while we were still rolling and smoking upstairs… In the end we all got off with a warning but they destroyed the 4 plants we were growing…

Its a sad thing watching the pigs rip ’em up, they were so young 🙁
