First of all I’d like to say that this website has opened my eyes regarding LSD. My bf and a few of his mates have done it a few times, and while I used to hate the idea of it, I’ve read up on it, and it actually seems amazing. Now I really want to try it just once to experience it. I used to say I wanted to do K just once, but I decided I don’t want to ever do K, but can’t wait to do LSD.
I’ve read enough about it to know:
– I should do it with people I know and trust in a place where I’ll be comfortable.
-go in with my eyes open and to expect the unexpected
– but that I shouldn’t overthink it before doing it (its a plus if acid finds you instead of u finding it apparently?)
– and that I shouldn’t forget I took it (seems to happen quite a lot, how could you even forget you tool lsd if you’re tripping balls? id assume you’d be like ‘holy shit shouldnt have taken this acid’) and that I just have to remind myself it’s not real. think happy thoughts. laugh it off.
– obviously not take more than one drop and if i feel i can handle it, maybe 2
(let me know if i missed out on anything else thats super important)
I won’t be doing it anytime soon coz I’ve also read you have to be in a good state of mind and there’s been a few things on my mind the past couple of weeks so I’ll wait till I’m back to normal and till I’ve had all my LSD-related questions answered:)
So far I just have one or two, really. What does a bad trip actually FEEL like? I’ve read a lot of times that it could be caused by alcohol or not being comfortable with your surroundings or being in a bad/depressing mood. I also read that it feels like you’ve broken your mind.
But what are you actually experiencing during these bad trips? What is it that you think you can see, that makes you think you’ve lost your mind, and makes you forget you even took LSD (I once forgot i took coke but thats only coz its a really clear high. I really can’t imagine forgetting I took LSD though.)
Also, I’ve been sick on E before, and it felt awesome, but does being sick if you have a bad trip on acid make you get sick as if you’ve been drinking – like you’re a mess and the vomiting is exhausting you and you just need to leave and go to bed? Can you get sick on acid without necessarily having a bad trip?
I’m also curious about how well I’ll be able to function? Can you tell from a mile away if someone’s on acid? Assuming I take just one drop and I’m pretty fucked up but not in a bad way, will I still be able to walk properly, recognise my friends and talk to them and understand what I’m being told? Or will I just be in a world of my own? I chose LSD over K because LSD seems to open up your mind in ways you didnt think were possible, whereas K sounds like it shuts you down, and I’m not keen on that idea. Perhaps my perception of it will change but for now, its a no.
I fucked up my first E experience coz I went in totally unprepared – had no idea what to expect, and ended up freaking out. That was a long time ago though, when i used to hate drugs and did it 80% out of pressure and only 20% out of my own curiosity. Now I wanna do it for the experience, and acid sounds out of this world so I really want my first time to be good.

It’s pretty obvious people tripping are not able to respond normally to conversation and are not on “the same level” as non-tripping people. Last time I helped such a person out was in a Dutch bar after they’d visited a smart shop – they’d bought a bottle of wine but were completely unable to use a corkscrew to open it. I helped them out, opened the bottle, let them sniff the cork (they were too fucked up to notice) and left them to get on with it.

i also have one awkward question – what happens if i need to pee? i know thats literally planning EVERYTHING ahead, but will i be able to tell that i need to pee, and be able to actually go toilet? really dont want to end up peeing myself coz im so spaced out or whatever.
Oh, it’s OK. You can still do things, just takes a lot of effort and concentration to a) Walk to the toilet, b) get in position and c) Let go. Cosmic feeling once you get there… You still feel need to go (your body knows it has too much LSD and compensates by sweating and urination). Actually doing it just takes more effort, but it feels REAL relief when you manage it.
… some guys have been known to get on their knees to make sure they hit inside the toilet bowl. A girl shouldn’t have that problem, just disrobe, sit down, let go. Yes a guy could do that but it’s pretty hard for a guy to get over the trained reflex of peeing while standing up.

Bad trips are better than good trips in some respects, the aftermath if you are not the sad few who are weak minded and get fucked up from it is amazing and much more beneficial than good trips.
i’m pretty sure hoffman said you get more from the difficult trips.
a bad trip is like paranoia and if you are on a super high dose you will believe the most insane things (which is the best part of psychedelics…) and they become true. sometimes these can be good thoughts which aren’t real sometimes they can be super scary and they seem completely real. that’s a bad trip…
generally though people don’t dose enough and they just get a mild exp where their earth isn’t shattered and they just have fun… still good and beneficial but when i look back i’ve forgotten all those exps and the ones where i lost myself are the ones that have scarred me with amazingness.

i wasnt gonna do acid most my life cos all these far out stories ive heard, but consider also that if u take enough of anything u will get messy and acid is the same. its probably not going to warp your mind on lower doses. i find that mushrooms mess my head up much more. the trouble is wen you’re deciding if to take something or not is that you have information coming from both people that have and haven’t taken the drug and there is inconsistency and with lsd and e there is a lot. i did acid twice and both times did a microdot… 1st time was amazing, i’ll never look at a premier inn the same again, i felt so good, soft and warm, very content. 2nd time pretty amazing too lol, but i just felt it was a bit wasted in a warehouse party in some industrial area… 1st time i did it i only did acid other than drinking beer and after a whole night and morning on it i slept a few hours (benzo :smile:) and felt great… acid and k are like opposites, acid u can feel connection, life force, awakening… k is trippy sedation… lol i’ve become really pro acid, and wen people ask i feel the need to offset the misinformation. i wasn’t like this a few months ago, lsd was terra incognita :p

4-aco-dmt and heavy dose of DMT!! needs to be administered next. or have u done 4-aco? not sure don’t think you have..
A bad trip is like the most terrifying nightmare you have ever had but for real. Like P0ly says though, you appreciate it as a learning experience afterwards.
My first bad trip was my first trip. Everything was going great until the world started to disappear into flocks of tessellating multicolour geometric patterns, it got to the point where I could not see my own hand in front of my face (well maybe for a second before it disappeared into the patterny miasma). Then My left hand became posessed and was kinda wandering around doing it’s own thing. I couldn’t move and had to lay down in the middle of the playing field looking up at the clouds that were boiling and writing when suddenly the clouds parted in great tongues of fire and flaming skeletons were reaching down from the sky to drag me to hell (which was up in the clouds for some reason).
Some time after that, things started to calm down a little and my mates and I went for a walk to the 24hour garage, things were still pretty damn strange though and I could hear KLF-What time is love over and over clearly in my head as if it were playing on invisible headphones or something.
All this was one one purple ohm which I had consumed in two halves.

that sounds much stronger than what i had… i thought microdots were supposed to be strong lol, was still enough that i got lost in a small space so i was happy enough with that for a beginner trip… what are purple ohms?

4-aco-dmt is next whenever i have a will, have the way now lol… there was kinda an opportunity of dmt on my first acid but i was told psychedelic creche does not permit acid and dmt on first trip… also gf wasnt feeling the buzz lightyear vibe at that point
Purple ohms = blotter with a miniature ohm symbol in purple on them. Typically 100-200 microgrammes of LSD, quite a low dosage compared to microdots or other blotter types.

Different blotter designs here, but getting the dosage right (amount of drip) is more trial and error than scientific with this sort of drug…

na man. 400 mics is a strong dose of acid. check erowid.
tab dose speculation is a whole load of bullshit, don’t listen to it. normally doses are under 100 mics and setting can be the difference between 300 mics doing a bit and 100 mics fucking u up majorly.
i did 3 of these blotters in my room safe and sound with gaza was fine. did ONE of them at boomtown 2010 and it was 5 times more potent cos the setting was so hectic things were morphing and i was getting major visuals…
basically when it comes to acid. someone tries it and it’s either, weak, medium, strong or fucking strong. that’s really the best way to judge the stuff cos some muppet will make up any old bullshit number and attach it to lsd.
for example i got sold 200 dalai lama tabs which was the second nicest acid i’ve ever had, so clean, had a lot of good parties with people on that. i was initially told they were 230mics.. then later they said… na they’re actually 130 but ive seen the lsd under a microscope and it’s the top quality pure white crystal whereas other tabs generally wouldn’t have as pure acid on them… if those tabs were 130 mics then 260 mics is a fucking insane dose and i have proof.
gaza took TWO of these one night and lost himself quite badly, i only did one cos i was on mephe at the time never planned to do it but everyone else was so thought fuck it. but yeah ive seen gaza take 5 different psychedelics in one go at good doses and have a fat exp yet 260 mics of acid had him drooling lost like a child (so he tells me, i had to go downstairs and lay down by myself cos it was fucking potent).

thats what happened to me also. i did microdot from same batch both times, but it was much stronger the 2nd time.. i was even convinced i’d had a stronger one. barrettone thinks its cos i had various over intoxicants as well, but im not sure. i needed mdma the 2nd time to find myself again, lol.
