Well I took my dog for a walk down my local woods and decided to have a little look for shrooms.
I took a few pictures of some of the mushrooms I came across. I know there are a few types of shrooms so I took a picture of all the ones I came accross.
Nope.

Thanks,
Thought it was worth a shot to see if I found anything interesting 😉
I thought maybe the first 2 could be liberty caps as they were quite nipply ha
na they aren’t mate sry.
FAO Pat …. These mushrooms have nipples, are in the UK and aren’t libbies.
these pics look like they’re in de woods… psilocybe mushrooms grow on grass mainly and also picking in de woods is dangerous

I thought I see them in the dark before, but wasn’t sure if they were nipples or not.

Bears don’t shit any more in the woods, so they’re not as scary as they were… Hazel or sycamore tree leaf in the first shot. 🙂
Liberty caps like moorland – very few trees, generally hill sides. Not inches deep in leaf mold. Rarely you do get spores inside bags of wood chippings, as quite a few local councils offer to chip cut wood to cut down on weed growth in people’s gardens. Sometimes the spores go with the wood chips.

I was in the woods when I found these mushrooms
There are quite a few grassy hills around where I live, I will have a look for some libbys next time im out. Do I have to get on my hands and knees to spot them or will patches of libbys be visible when walking?
Fields with cow/horse’s on/near them are good too.

I’ve got every type of field near me haha
Hopefully they should be good for maybe finding some libbys! 🙂
once you find one, u will probably find many as they are connected underground, but many fields will not have lib’s
Some of those look a bit like destroying angels. Which kill you if you eat them. As others said, magic mushrooms don’t grow in the woods, but lots of dodgy poisonous ones do (and also tasty edible ones if you know what to look for).
Absolutelllyyyy fuckkkkkkkkeeeeddd on mushrooms right now… seasons over though 🙁
Easy pickings over on Mt Edgecombe in Cornwall, went through the fields today and happy with the results to say the least, shit this screen is going all kinds of fucking mental colours, now im literally typing my thoughts…
…Hmmm

Depends partly on grass length and partly on the wind. If it’s a windy day the grass gets blown sideways and the little buggers are easy to spot. Lack of wind, you need to get down and part tall grass to see what’s happening at mushroom level.
