  • How long could you keep repressed valium for without significant loss of potency? Assuming it was kept in a dark place with as much oxygen expelled as possible in a sealed container. Any ideas? Preferably with an evidence base of some sort.

    Cheers

Neglected a stash of Tamazepam for a couple of years and it was totally useless so guess that would probably apply to most benzos

    How long do you mean

Personally I could probably keep it for about 1 day before taking it. 😛

i have an idea, go and find out and come back and tell us lol

Bugger might be one for Bluelight but cannot be bothered to sign up

Probably that time frame. How were they stored?

Check the use by date (if it has one)
are they in a blister pack? as this would be better,

but I’d say a year or two after the use by date should be ok if in the origional sealed blister pack –
as after my uncle died there were some Lorazeppam a good few years out of date and they were fine,
if not in a blister pack – mmmm, wouldnt have a clue but not long and prob not more than a year but this is a guess and I have no real evidence to this

My mate was once told if you dont seal up you puff (pot) it evaporates – he was so stoned he just replied ‘ I wondered where it kept going?’ totally serious like! ha!

They are repressed not in blister packs. Ah well we shall see 🙂

    Take em and report back

yeh do the research, this is critical analysis for sure

oh I don’t have them to take. It was more if I were to have some how long can I keep them for; not I have some will they be okay. Just being a driver and the long half life they cannot be used except on the odd occasion (although that’s probably for the best with benzos anyway).
