Hello, I’m going to tell you about my ‘Black Mamba’ legal high experience because I felt like it was quite the story to tell but first I’ll start off with some little background information for anybody who bothers to read it;
I’m seventeen, and live in a quiet boring town where everyone knows everybody. I’m no newbie to drugs, I’ve done a vast array of indulgences including Cannabis(used to be a heavy smoker until it lost it’s magic.), Cocaine, Mephedrone (Usually every week), A lot of ‘brands’ of legal highs like ‘White Widow’, ‘Zombie Magic’, ‘Way Out’, ‘Deadly Kiss’, ‘Annihilation'(Which is now illegal.) and of course ‘Black Mamba’.
Last year I was quite the avid fan of the Mamba as it usually sent me into a fit of laughter, left me really blazed, and I could handle it quite well. Until last Christmas where I smoked a three gram blunt (basically a joint without rolling tobacco and just the drug for people who aren’t up to date with stoner slang.) and It made me believe I was breaking into somebody’s house to steal a glass of water, when in reality It was my house and I was creeping around like I was In the game Metal Gear Solid and I thought I was dying. But that’s a story for another time. The reason I’m telling you this is because after that night I swore I’d never touch legal weed ever again…
Last weekend I arrived at my friends flat(Lets call him Clint.) after drinking quite a considerable amount of cheap Tesco brand vodka. As I walked into his bedroom, I was greeted by a crowd of my friends (about 7 or 8 of them) and the smell of ‘legal’ smoke, by this I mean if you have ever smoked or smelt a legal joint you’ll know and probably never forget the pungent disgusting smell that it emits.
After awhile of catching up and having a laugh as they all smoke this drug, that I once loved and then I was hit by a question that I should have denied… “Here, Go and have a full bong of Mamba!!”. My brainbox clicked and the reply that came out was “I’m not going to lie, I’m really drunk so load it up”. I haven’t forgave my brain since then. 2 Minutes later the bong had been preped, filled up with about 1.5 grams of Black Mamaba and handed to me with a lighter. Before my conscience could convince me this was a bad idea, I held the lighter to the bowl and brewed until the smoke collecting inside was pure milky white. I then cleared it with one inhale and held it in until my lungs started to hurt. I exhaled and was instantly send into a fit of laughter… for about 5 seconds until I looked down and felt like I was on the middle of a tight-rope suspended above a very very long drop. I threw my arms out looking for something to grab, failed and fell backwards and smashed my head against Clint’s wardrobe and broke it.
Then the madness started.
I appeared to be in a white landscape of nothingness, flying and spinning through this void. An then I was teleported into a terrifying, horrible place that is extremely hard to explain unless I were to draw it. (I’m sorry if you like time stamps of when everything happened but I cannon’t tell you as this whole experience felt like years and I had no understanding of time.)
I was in Limbo.
As I looked around to attempt to understand what was going on, I realized that I was stuck in a very sickening fast rotating ball, like that sport ‘Zorbing’, but I wasn’t the only one stuck in a sphere. I could hear screams and shouts of un-distinguishable languages and voices from around me, and other ‘balls’ yet couldn’t see who was inside of them. I realized after about an hour that I was going to be stuck in this insane never ending hell ball for the rest of my life. I then was contacted by the ‘devil’ telepathically and was made to understand that I would never get out and this was it forever. It might not sound so bad for you,the reader but while your experiencing this and hearing that your never going to be alive or dead forever is one terrifying thought. I begged for it to kill me so it would end or to forgive me and send me back to my old world and out of this hell.
In reality, from my friends point of view, I was laying down knocked out while being violently sick onto the floor and the occasional “help me” uttered out of my intoxicated mouth. This was probably when I was begging to be released from this purgatory.
After what felt like 8/9 years had gone by of screams and rolling and nothingness, I found myself flying back into my body on the floor of my friends flat and as my vision came back to normal, I saw about 10 strangers looking at me and couldn’t recognize any of them and wondered why they were looking at me and some laughing. It was actually all of my friends but since I was still really really fucked up, I couldn’t tell who any of them were. I’ll skip the next bit which just consists of me vomiting into a frying pan ( Yes, a frying pan because nobody could find a basin or a bucket.) and trying to sober up. I checked my phone and realized only an hour had gone by, not the 10 years like what It felt like. I was relived.
Well that was my trip report for ‘Black Mamba’. I hope you liked it. I may write more reports in the future. If you where contemplating smoking Cannabinoids and came to Erowid to decide what they are like, and read some reports the only advice I could give you is this was my experience, yours might be amazing or terrifying, Legals are differ to person to person. Start out with small doses. Just because they are legal It doesn’t mean they are safe, They all are very strong and definitely should not be legal.
