My cat was talking to me about how it would like to try DMT sometime. Said cat has never used any kind of psychedelic drug before and is new to the whole hallucinogenic experience.

This cat does not want to start off with shrooms, LSD, or salvia, it would prefer to go straight to DMT. It was wondering how much to try the first time, just to experience a “sneak preview” of the effects of DMT. It would like to bump up the dosage after the first time. And my cat was also wondering if smoking DMT from a joint would work well enough, or if some kind of pipe is better.

The cat specified that it does not really want an earth-shattering, super powerful trip (at least not for this first time), it would just like to try enough DMT so it can get to know the drug.

I would do about 15-20 mg for your first time to get a decent trip. I like having one of those glass “lightbulb” pipes which has an airtight screw (save for the stem you smoke from.) Using a blowtorch lighter you vaporise the DMT by just heating the glass (being careful not to burn the DMT). Do this until you have a nice thick cloud inside the pipe. When you’re ready, exhale all the air out of your lungs and then breathe in the pipe smoke. Hold it in for as long as you can until you release, and if possible, inhale from the pipe again and repeat. You will probably slump back so do this sitting down. The rest is fun! You can also do joints, yes, though I find them to be a bit wasteful in terms of chemical, but that’s just my opinion on the matter.

I agree with this. Fair play for jumping straight to DMT. You won’t regret it ;P

Oh I forgot to add (although it may seem self evident) that while you’re vaping you should cover the stem hole with your thumb so that no smoke escapes.

Surprisingly no, as cats spend up to 18-20 hours asleep, the amount of DMT there brain produces is really quite high. So a good amount for say, a run of the mill moggie would be roughly 50-60mg, where as a pedigree like a Norwegian forest cat would need 90-100+mg as that breed is the size of a fuckin dog.

I suggest never giving DMT to a chinchilla, they’re crafty buggers as it is, don’t want them getting ideas.
