  • At some point in our lives most of us have uttered those famous last words. Can someone explain to me why we continue to drink on another occasion when we fully know the hideous consequences of heavy drinking?. Currently I’m suffering and have been for the last 12 or so hours.

Below – an example of what my hangover looks and feels like.

Answer a) Because it’s part of the hangover to be turned off of alcohol. Deep down you love it cause you think it fuckin’ rocks, right?
Answer b) because your addicted to it and won’t open your eyes.

    Pick one.. it’s probably A.

I know what you mean though. You think how disgusting you feel at the time (gets worse as you get older), but then you forget and the cycle of drinking is continued.

Yeah said those words a few times over the years but seem to have hit the age/tolerance now where booze dont make me ill any more

As for drinking again after a bad experience………… alcohol lowers inhibitions & standards, and makes dull activities & people more interesting………. in short it gets us laid, simples

    Lol! so true

Because were built to keep trying!
It isn’t only alcohol we say were never doing again..
A lot of women say ‘ i’m never going through that again’ after giving birth/labour but they do.
A lot of people say about an ex partner i’m never going near him/her again but they do.
Probably loads more examples but i’m missing red dwarf so i’m hurried.

I always find the more often I drink the less likely I am to get hungover.
I just cba nowadays…I really miss my boozy pubs nights but it causes to much suffering now :'(

I’ve never fucking looked like that,

even when hanging and uttering those words ‘ I’m never drinking again’

Which I have about 109 times in the past

When the troll gets up on the bridge however, the third billy goat is so big that he easily throws the troll into the stream with his horns and crosses the bridge. From then on the bridge is safe, and all three goats are able to go to the rich fields around the summer farm in the hills. They all live happily ever after. The troll, however, was never seen again.

Just ignore him and he’ll get bored and go, you have to treat trolls like little children, mainly because they are.
