Thought about making a thread with pictures of city art from where we live.
So here goes

I did a double take at one of them pics when it first poped up on my screen, thankfully it wasn’t what I first thought.
Some cool art there … 🙂

one of the women does have a big pussy (that cat is nearly as big as the baby they are carrying).
Also there appears to be a dude showing a lot of affection to a goose whilst stark bollock naked. I believe is perfectly legal in Denmark, but surely its a bit cold for it at this time of the year if not sensibly dressed?
She have been standing there since 1937, so she should be used to the cold by now :lol_big:

Just a bit some places, but it’s gone now.
Last year we already had our first snowstorm in the start of November.
Hadn’t seen any snow in a while we until took the kids on holiday to New Zealand earlier this year.
There’s not really any art where I live. Not unless you go into the City Centre (or to Cambourne which is a whole new town and therefore is a bit more modern).
There IS an old fashioned telephone box halfway between my village and the next that has been turned into a library. The phone is de-activated and it has been shelved and is full off books that you can borrow and then return.
Ipswich actually has a fair bit of art, from legal/commissioned graffiti pieces to a statue of Cardinal Wolsey with his cat,and there are still working red telephone boxes in some areas (I think they are kept there in case the all the mobile networks go down and folk need to call 999). however I am rarely in town and/or never have the spare time to photograph these things, I will try and get some pics from my friends who use Flickr as they often take them.
There is also a very old fashioned post box in town which I was a bit suspicious of at first as a ITV had been filming scenes for some period drama in the region – although on closer inspection it was a legit in service Royal Mail post box, apparently those kinds are now protected. There is also a giant question mark sculpture just outside the University (i can understand the concept but not sure if the amount spent on it was such a good idea….)
Nice pictures.
Wow that 5th photo is amazing!
What a beautiful place and what superb pics.
Found this in town earlier today. The last few years some artists have got the permission to decorate big walls different places in town.
