Hey dudes, I have been doing way too many benzos for way to long.
My Tolerance has quadrupled (although sometimes I can get away with less) and I want to stop them altogether.
Also I drink Cider every day.
I know you shouldn’t stop the benzos altogether, but what is the best way to get off them as I only have a small amount left and am skint (also I want to get clean this year apart from the odd psys).
Any help would be appreciated!
Well you first have to make up with yourself if you really wannt to stop.
If you do you should take a cold turkeyand get the shit out of your system, and then you should read the advices you give everybody else on the forum, because a lot of it is good advice.

I’ve been tailing down. Only did one 20mg the night before last and none last night. I have read that going turkey can give seizures and kill you so not really feeling that.
Is there anyone on here who had had to stop or tail down. I would like to know how it went for you. I had a shit night’s sleep last night (as is expected) but somehow I feel sharper and more refreshed.
After reading a bit more about it and the danger of a cold turkey I can onle advice you to see a doctor to get help with a gradual dose reduction.
You should try and talk to some friends or family who don’t do drugs, staying with the same type of people (druggies) makes it harder to stop.
But I can say from personal experience that it will cost “friends” getting clean, but it will be worth it in the long run.

It shouldn’t cost friends cos I have them delivered, nobody I know here actually does them (unless they are script ones from the Dr)! Once I have got myself to a point where it’s not very likely that I die if I stop, then I just won’t order any more.
Has anyone had experience with this? I only did 2 last night and a bottle of cider. I did wake up half way through my normal sleep sweating like a pig on a hot day though. I don’t want to go into DTs.
Actually slept OK last night on cider and my last two.
None left tonight. I have cider but I have to get up tomorrow and sort loads of things out.
I’m sure it’ll all be fine. Positive attitude!
What’s the reality of taking these everyday? I was prescribed Ativan yesterday for anxiety because of sleep deprivation but I’m not overwhelmed with anticipation after reading wikipedia…
I feel really sad reading that….

Nothing I guess
But maybe a bit of rest and a small vacation away from everything could help.
You deserve it. 🙂
OK first night didn’t go great but it wasn’t too bad. The cider knocked me right out as planned. But then I woke up about 4:30 and couldn’t get properly back to sleep, did sort of dream but it was more like these strange visions.
Feel a bit weird today, shaky and zoned out, slight hallucinations and not too steady on my feet.
Hope it completely resolves itself by the end of the weekend I have a temp job starting on Monday.

If it’s a legit script from a healthcare professional for an otherwise healthy young patient, they should be monitoring the dosage and for any signs of addiction, and working out a plan to minimise harm. They may have made the decision that the anxiety and sleep deprivation is reducing your quality of life more than addiction might!
Took my first dose today which didn’t just relax me it knocked me out. Is that expected?
