Although the same method is used for smuggling, I suggest you do not use it for this method as it’s not foolproof. For stopping it smelling in your house, you can also put it in a bag, and wrap it very tightly in parcel tape over and over, it has to be very tightly wrapped. This will definitely not get past sniffer dogs so don’t even try, but will stop humans smelling it if done right.

the double machine sealed bags are what smugglers use, highly doubt a jam jar is better, mby more practical in this case though 😛
