while you are a little bit abrasive with the name calling you certainly are right that seroquel won’t make a sane person psychotic in the same way that say Haladol or Thorazine would.
i’ve mostly heard of it perscribed as a sleeping aid as you mention, very different than alot of other antipsycotics.

keep in mind a big difference between daily prescribed use and the acclimatization that the body undergoes and how different that is from one off use.
also the OP said they sniffed their sub which is considerably different than oral or transdermal use.
