I’ve now seen 2 vendors flogging these off at half price, admittedly they’re owned by the same group, and while I have nothing confirmed yet, these being flogged as fast as possible leads me to think yet another *diazepine is on the way out.
Does anyone have or know of any actual report on possible banning/classification of benzos? I’ve looked but found nothing.
i’m sure if you can’t find it no one else will, but 2+2=4 so its probably a safe bet that it is either offically on the way to banned camp or they have good information that it will be soon.

You’re right. With the etizolam there has been zero said about a possible ban but after taking legal advice they decided etiz needed to go and this sounds exactly the same as that.

same shit happens with all kinds of stuff, like fire sale’s on spice at headshops in the USA when really restrictive bans were impending.
some of it is probably potental harm if they get someone who takes way too much and OD’s and sue’s, less of a problem in the UK than the USA but if you paid a fair bit of $$ to sit down with legal counsel and they said it needs to go you’d be remiss not to listen.

As far as potential harm, the UK vendors are well covered as using any of their products in humans or even animals breaches their TOS. I’ve known people be banned from a few vendors for even implying they were using the products.

still the gov can come in and shut you down if they find you complicit in supplying these substances, no matter the intended use or TOS. glad to hear they have their bases covered on not getting shut down for others stupidity but i wonder what made them budge and get rid of etiz and stuff.

Like I said, no-one reallys knows except the vendors themselves and all me and a few others have gotten from them is that they sought legal advice and whatever came from that made them decide to get rid.

all we can do is speculate… future ban down the road, possiblity of it falling somehow within the impending ban… who knows.
i’m not up to date on the next UK ban but aMT is going right? that seems to be a big favorite on this board. anything else notable?
Every single tryptamine from TIHKAL is going. They did the same to PIHKAL many moons ago. Every substance that wasn’t covered by whatever generic phenethylamine definition they used, they referred specifically to PIHKAL and whatever wasn’t controlled by the generic they added by name. Only people these laws harm are the ones who are trying to have a good time and not get arrested. People will still want to do them, just now they face at least a night in the cells for the pleasure.

that about covers everything imagineable, shulgin was the most through chemist devoted to mind altering substances, i guess you can get stupidly creative and come up with something new here and there but damn seems like the benzos are about it. def a shakeup.

Thankfully Shulgin was already getting things collected for when this time came. A few years ago he published “The Shulgin Index vol. 1” It was a massively expanded version of PIHKAL but without his own experimental notes from testing each compound. It included stuff from his lab books that hadn’t previously been published, but also included many other chems that had been synthed by others. The Shulgin Index vol 2 will hopefully make an appearance soon although the great man passed away before giving a release dat but knowing his wife, Ann was as devoted to the cause as her late husband, it will almost certainly appear soon.

i’ve got THIKAL and PIHKAL and a paperback copy of his chem notes but 70$ for the index vol 1 is a bit much right now(although that is par for a hardcover science book), if they can come up with some sort of vol 1 & 2 deal i’ll jump on it. i wonder what happens when ann passes on.
shulgin also published a book called The Simple Plant Isoquinolines.. idk anything about it.
Can help you with a copy of the index mate, I’ll add it to your requests.
I don’t think there are any new laws planned; more likely that that particular substance was an odd potency/half life combination which wasn’t ideal for recreational purposes nor simply getting to sleep. It did seem to have unwanted after effects of excessive tiredness/sketchiness and perhaps heightened OD risk if combined with other stuff. So it may simply not have sold well and been too much hassle to hold as stock.

You might well be right GL I’ve searched for any new guidance from the ACMD and found nothing. With the etizolam, I’m pretty confident the info about them getting legal advice was correct, but no-one’s said anything about diclazepam.
