the drugs operation is just part of a wider investigation of the “hidden” services which has been going on since 2008 or so when Tor first started becoming popular. Troels (whom I suspected was Scandinavian) seems to be a policeman with a few more braincells in his head (I thought you only got cops like that on the TV!) and his work also includes going after the pedos (below the Wiki entry for him which curiously is only in German).

same as on the normal net folk operate more than one server/website… a lot of small businesses set up multiple sites to make themselves look bigger..

That’s what I thought. I suppose it’s much like when they took down Freedom Hosting, that pedo in Ireland was operating hundreds of pedo sites.
