I have been using cocaine pretty reg for the last 2 1/2 weeks. I haven’t used since Friday morning. I have to do a urine drug screen Thursday morning. I’m very nervous I wont pass. Any suggestions ? I really need to pass this test. Thanks :crazy:

As far as I know you should be fine if it’s just a standard urine test then the max time it will be detectable is 4 days so you should be fine 2 1/2 weeks is not long enough or regular enough to cause any deviation from those times.

A friend of mine tested positive after 9 days OF NO USE. She wasn’t flushing her system with water bc she thought 9 days would be more than enough time. It wasn’t 🙁 I’m drinking a ton of water and taking water pills. Is there anything else I can do that you know of? Thanks

I have NEVER heard of that, certainly not from a urine test. A hair test can go back much further than that so did this friend definitely had a urine test?

A urine test for the metabolites of the drugs can only detect them during the length of time it takes the body to metabolise so extended periods are not common at all. And it can’t have been drinking too little fluid, for the metabolites to have any chance of remaining he’d probably need to have not used the toilet in the 9 days he’d been clean.. Same was as alcoholbreaks down and leaves the body in a certain time frame depending on how fast the body can process certain things and the 4 days listed for coke was probably one of the longer lingering drugs.

I used Cocaine exactly 78 hours before my test.. I’m 5″9′ 185 and I have been drinking moderate water.. So does this mean I failed?

Don’t know 78 hours is very close to 72 which is rgw figure I believe is usually given but that depends on metabolism, work done, food and liquid intake and so on.

Just checked and see 12-72 hours so you might be lucky.

I know this is a little off subject but I took a drug screen at a lab for work less than twelve hours after taking and oxy. And passed? Wtf how is that even possible… I mean I glad…. but still puzzled about this.

They don’t check for the presence of the drug in urine but it’s metabolites (what the body converts the drug to). Just as a slow metabolism can make a drug detecable in your sytem longer, it can also make it take longer to be detectable, the drug still has to be metabolised and that rate does not change much. Fatser metabolism and probably faster detection.
