I am not on my computer so I will just explain it. In the early 90s a company released its IPO along with the original patent for adderall. Brand name adderall is born. Early 2000s Barr Laboratories buys shire and creates the first generic adderall approved by the FDA. While all this is happening, a company called Teva is buying out every major pharmaceutical manufacturer of generics in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Finally Teva took over the generic drug industry in the US in 2007 and in turn buying Barr who makes generic adderall from the company it bought which is the brand name. So the brand name was bought by a generic drug company and then bought by a larger generic drug company. So, the quality of the adderall goes chronologicaly as the “brand name” made by a company called Shire(Teva) is of highest quality(blue circular pill with the letters D and P on it and a peach circular pill with the letters AD on it). tied for first in the generic category is a multi colored circular pill with a distinct E on it made by Eon Labs, and its competition Barr Labs makes a blue circular pill and a orange pill that can be oval shaped, recognizable with a lowercase “b”. In second is the pink and blue circular pill made by Ranbaxy, and is recognizable by the letters “cor”. Finally tied for last are the 2 pills I would avoid the most marked by the letter “M” and the other with a “U”. I have created this scale based on company responsibility, and the dosage of active ingrediants. *results may vary 😉
