this isn’t surprising TBH. He is not a young man; has worked in warzones and all sorts of places and although the UK is relatively safe for journos someone of his calibre has to watch their back 24/7; and news reporting itself is 24/7 conflict. An MRI scanner is also a very claustrophobic device to have to go through sober; most “heavy”medical equipment of this nature is uncomfortable. I’m not surprised he got a bit of a scare.
it is a similar result to the Ecstasy Live where the one man reporting adverse/uncomfortable events was ex-HM Forces; I am not 100% sure but have a feeling he had served in a special unit where he would have been warned about the use of “truth drugs” and basic training would have caused him to fight their effects to some extent.
