HELP. BAD REACTION.

Okay so I’ll start off with the background info in bullet form.
– I am newly prescribed to adderall
– I’m 18 years old
– I am a daily weed smoker
– I’ve lost ten pounds since I started taking adderall (eating much less)
– I’ve been going to sleep around 1am – 4am for the past 3 weeks and waking up at 7am
– Ever since I started taking adderall my highs have gotten increasingly crazier with less weed.
– A second stimulant is also in play, I drip 12-24mg nic juice on my vape almost constantly

So here is the situation. I took my adderall at 11am today. After I took my adderall, I ate a cup of pudding. For the last couple of weeks, everytime I take my adderall and smoke I feel depersonalized, paranoid, and content at the same time. But today, I went to a friends house and we smoked. We only smoked one bowl of some dank.

For some reason, about five minutes later, it instantly felt like a truck rammed into my head. I became extraordinarily dizzy and nauseas. I went to go sit on the couch because my head was pounding so hard, and then it felt like a second truck had run into my head. Then I started hallucinating. It was really scary and my friend said that my lips were turning purple and my face was way to pale. Another friend kept telling me I wasn’t looking so good. I was extremely confused, and my friends also said that I was behaving really odd.

I used to have to smoke a 1.5-2 joints of dank to get pretty high but now this shit is happening with just one bowl. I doubt it’s the weed. I’m worried that with my habits, my life might soon be coming to an end if I keep doing what I’m doing. Today was not just anything. It was BAD. I truly thought I was about to die (I’ve been smoking everyday for a good while now and this literally never happens.) WHAT DO I DO?? 🙁 I know this isnt a normal reaction from a low mg adderall and one bowl, that’s why I’m scared.

basicslly, you are poly-using different classes, you gotta expect side effects man. Your weight loss indicates you may have a higher sensitivity to stimulants. Nothing changes if nothing changes ….. Stop using that combo if you aren’t happy with the results

Your not taking any other prescribed meds are you?

Also, Adderal is d/l amphetamine…. The d isomer is what gives you the euphoria as it plays on the central nervous system ( that’s why everybody loves pseudo meth and dexies) however the l isomer works on the peripheral nervous sysgem, which is the effects you are getting. Fuck knows why they have that shit in there because is does just that. ask your doc to switch to dexies

You’ve been prescribed a stimulant injadderall. That’s why tyou can’t sleep and weed is different, in fact the adderall is gonna probably disstort every drug that you experience on compared to not already being a reasonably strong stim8lant.

There will be other here later that will prbably give better info.

Thanks for the replies guys. I’ve been hospitalized because of adhd medication in my past. I lost 35 pounds in about a month and a half and one day I randomly just started to basically die so this has been scaring me. The passing out also happened that day too. I’m just afraid this might have been the same thing but instead while I was high. Thanks again for the responses.

Ha! I actually wrote that while driving through peak hour today! I’ve spent more years than I can remember getting to understand the brain and pharmacology … It’s an insatiable passion that has been my best friend yet at the same time my worst enemy!!!

It astounds me that docs will prescribe meds without fully informing their patients of the things they would benefit knowing

I’ve had racemic amphetamine before and hated it … jittery crap … and I’m a fucking meth head???

FYI, we only have dexies and methylphenidate (Ritalin) here in Aus! None of that racemic crap however we do miss out on desoxyn (that lovely d-meth)

amfetamine type stimulants and cannabis taken together can cause all these side effects. I stopped with cannabis some years ago because of this (also wanted to quit cigarettes as they were finishing off my older friends from the tech / electronics forums)

the types of chemicals in cannabis vary and then all sorts else can get added to bulk it out

if you have been legally prescribed aderrall which is classsed as controlled/hard drugs here then it may well be for a good reason; if only so you can get through school/college/work/life

nicotine juice was used to kill off bugs (that eat plants)

I can very rarely smoke cannabis today and even then I still get bouts of paranoia so no longer bother with it..

Uhmm you’re supposed to smoke when you’ve come off your adderall high for the day(if you’re going to smoke at all, probs better to not smoke when a stimulant user)

yeah I’ve gotten pretty psychotic for a short period(like a few hours) while smoking green when still high on adderall, its not a good combination.

Thanks for all your replies again guys. I’ve decided to just go with the flow on this one if you know what I mean. I’m still not quite sure what I’m going to do yet, but I’m (ironically) glad to see that the problem is rooted in the chemicals from both drugs and that my body and mind isn’t what’s actually fucked up. You guys are great on here haha. Expect to see some more posts from me in the future, I like this forumn!

You don’t want to be smoking green until you’ve come off your Adderall and aren’t high from amphet anymore that day, imo thats the take home point of this thread
