…being flagged by AVG and Panda as makware. From techworm.net.Tor Browser 4.0.4 released and being flagged by AVG and Panda Antivirus as malware

Not so much bothered about the false positives as letting anyone interested a new version was released.

I have this and is good for unblocking TV link sites, but the lack of a working popup blocker make this worthless for anything else, shame really

No working popup blocker? Noscript is on by default isn’t it, that doesn’t sound right but if you want even more security try this

When I have used it I get new windows opening left and right, I googled the issue and it seems other pl had same issue, IDK maybe i have it set up wrong, will have a look at that link tho, thx 🙂

I checked and noscript is enabled, tested on solarmovie, clicked link, adwindow opened :/

Can’t seem to get updater to work, however just realise that even with no script enabled, there’s stilla button on the dash that was set to allow scripts as default, changed that and now no windows.. so all good 🙂

tried the updater didn’t work. tried to just install new version didn’t work either… couldn’t find uninstall file, can’t remember if there was an installation as it seems to run off .exe in a folder on my desktop, Godamn my memory is shot 🙂

TOR is portable software, doesn’t need installing. Download from here: https://www.torproject.org/download/download-easy.html.en

Run the extractor and it will create a tor folder. Look in the folder for torbrowser and right click then run as admin.

ok so I’ll delete the existing folder on the DT and run this update. Did wonder if this was the case but like I said, memory is poor these days, cheers man.
