i will vouch for the kit; having been part of this crew from 1993 to 1995, and helped lug bits of this about at one time or another!
The conditions of it are exactly as Dan described; it has mostly been in storage since 1997 or so and only occasionally used since then, but a fair amount of it is useable and was I last saw it brought out in 2004 for a private barn party in the Reading area.
If its still the same stuff there are a lot of useful custom built and robust mains distribution panels that are often overlooked when selecting rig kit (made from decent enclosures and proper MK sockets, will save you a myriad of power problems from using cheap fittings!)
Unfortunately I don’t have any photos either as digital cameras weren’t invented in those days and my hi8 video equipment is not serviceable at the moment so I can’t capture any stuff from it
but it would be perfect for adding to an existing rigs kit.
IIRC its a full double garage’s worth of equipment; which also represents a large part of the Thames Valley’s rave history – OOOPS! started off a tradition of underground (either free parties or low-cost licensed raves) in this area which lasted 10 years at its height and still continues to an extent today.
I remember when that kit was first set up (and those speakers being built) – I am probably not the only person on here who would like to see it all go to a good home 😀
