It’s been a rollercoaster year of packed out Pokes courtesy of the likes of Rephlex and Planet-Mu, and this Christmas we go back to how it all began with a Warp Records special. Last christmas we gave you Miss Kittin, this year we’re digging into Warp’s mighty roster to bring you some of their freshest faces and one or two electronic legends who have been onboard since the beginning.
Over two rooms we’ll be taking in everything from filthy acid house to lush ambience, crunched up and glitched out noise to jackin’ techno. All the ingredients in place for another all night session of sonic mayhem under the railway arches.
As well as the usual musical bangers, this Xmas we are proud to bring you one of Winter’s newest yet noblest traditions, the Rev. Kruzer’s Electro Carol Service. For three years now the good Rev. has been brightening up the bleep midwinter nights with his unique take on the Christmas message, Hymn sheets provided, fun for all the family!
And this year we introduce Santa’s Grime Grotto, a club within a club, the Grotto may only accommodate 5 or 6 people at a time, but rest assured the fat man and his helpful elf servant will be supplying the freshest XXX-mas beats and special presents for those who make it into the inner sanctum.
Furthur would like to thank Seed Records for their help and support.
