Yup I do read uk.music rave but it is not very active these days in contrast to about 6 – 8 years ago.
It was a damn cool party, it’s a shame I haven’t come across any people who were there as it there such a full on party crowd and it would be real fun talking over the events with someone who was there. All the people who I spoke to at the party said it was the first one they had been to. Thankfully there was little or no trouble. One or two troublemakers who were closely watched but nothing serious which was really suprising.
The only real problem was with one dude who seemed to have lost it and was running in a random pattern outside the squat ( in bright daylight) bare chested , arms waving and chanting some uncipherable nonesense . I wonder what any passing locals thought !! :))
If anyone who was responsible for organising that party reads this post I hope you have another one lined up in the works. To speak in cliches , it was “pukkah !” Had a fantastic time. It was the first squat party / rave I’d been to in about 5 years as I thought the scene may have died out, but hey have my doom and gloom theories been dispelled. It was a major full on mash – most enjoyable !!!!! I almost feel 25 again !!!!!!!!!!!!! I had designs of going to pasture and moving up North – but hey after last week I realised if I move away from London my glass would definitely be half empty than half full !!!
