have just been doing some housekeeping in an email account and found some potentially useful stuff from SitePro news on search engine rankings, blogs, podcsting and other similar bits

i signed up ages ago WRT using it for a business website and because the stuff is interesting [well i think so anyway:crazy_fre] i have never stopped them coming although sometimes i wonder if one a day is a bit much…
[:crazy_freto get this strange behaviour into context i enjoy reading archaeology, science generally and (*aaaargh*) computing magazines [esp stuff aimed at corporate users *looks faintly embarassed* and networking shit:crazy_fre] :crazy_fre]

oh and reading up on all this computer shit also allows me to have some idea what noname (partner) is talking about when he speaks in acronyms and jargon as he is the only other adult in the house….
well thats the theory any way

i saw on the adminzone link that they have a way of differentiating the spiders from real users on their people online boards.

is it something to consider here?

I’ve installed and tested that but it didn’t work very well to be honest so I ditched it although I’ve been keeping an eye on it’s progress since…
