probably impossible now due to surveillance and anti-terrorism measures….
what an awesome video.
as said above, they would stop it “for security measures”
not sure it would work now-a-days either, a lot of people wouldn’t “risk” it.
/y0z
I cant seem to get it to play.
As soon as I press the play button it goes to the share vid/ replay vid screen????
anyone got any ideas????????????
when i see footage of direct action i get quite emotional.. it took me a while to suss out what that emotion was…
it’s not anger, not really
i think it’s sadness that there is so much unexpressed joy that comes from freedom
supression of freedom negates joy, which causes sadness
that’s what i feel
big up CIRCA, RTS, all the millions of people around who take the time and risk further oppresion to make freedom happen, no matter how temporary
that’s what makes this site and this community so important for me

Fantastic, loved the way the side of the lorry got ripped back as the sounds started. bought back a few memories.:weee:
its was all good stuff but did anyone listen to the wider message or just cherry pick the fun bits?
10 years later people from party crews are ending up pushing modified cars out of ditches (when they foolishly try and drive up ropey dirt tracks)
what a wicked video!!! it was certainly an eye opener!! wish stuff like that went off nowadays!!
to be fair though there are still protests/demos etc every day and I think if you are protsting but you are white and not from certain religions the surveillance is being slacked off (there are only so many cops and MI5 in this country) ; there is a peace camp sort of up the road from me protesting against the yanks sending their planes full of bombs for the Israel war through our country and they are being watched but not getting half of the grief these campaigners got in the 1980s.
the problem is the link between parties and protests is being severed.
a lot of people (although by no means all) at parties nowadays just want hedonism and drugs; they think politics are boring and when things get heavy they walk away from dealing with the difficult issues unless it personally affects them.
When parties get too heavy due to cops etc or they just get boring they stop going and just lead normal lifestyles (families, kids etc).
As far as many people are concerned they are perfectly happy if our country goes to war and people are blown up only in “foreign” places (though of course they are angry when the war comes back home) or more roads are built – as long as they think the people in power can guarantee a consumer society and/or the petrol prices are kept reasonable.
suposedly that lorry was spiral tribe.
Anyone heared the same?????raaa
conversion of ex-military vehicles to rig vans was fairly common in the 1990s.
Desert storm and Exodus had similar vehicles.
TBH they were often impressive looking but (other than Land rovers, Transits and other civilian vehicles bought as MOD surplus) often impractical (in financial terms) to run as many mil vehicles were petrol engined and even diesel ones weren’t as efficient as civillian models.
When life is cheap; fuel costs don’t really matter.
I’ve not seen very many ex-mil vehicles at free parties for years (other than civillian vans perhaps once used on a base then decommisioned and sold off at MOD auctions etc)
I expect “surplus” military vehicles are a bit harder to find nowadays – it seems that even “mothballed” kit is being pressed back into service now! There is a war on, chaps……
