i totally agree with Gen Lighting about petty disputes. last new years i was in hackney and it got pretty heavy in the third room, i asked one of the thugs mates why they thought it was alright. he said “on new years you get fucked, try and pull and settle all the old scores of last year”. he said it like this was public knowledge, like everyone did it. i have met a few dicks in my time, but i was still shocked.
on the other hand at this banbury party the injuries were definitely superficial, as the bloke didnt want the police involved, and the report says the ambulance was called, but nothing about him needing hospital, so he obviously walked away.
it seems like the lazy journalist going for the easy shock headline. they had to put stabbing in quote marks cos he prolly just got a bit cut. hope whoever is was is alright mentally tho. i know ive found my brushes with knife attacks very difficult to deal with. just having the presence of knife weilding maniacs right in your face, unavoidable, is hard. you have to live with that image in your head. im sure we all know what im on about. it puts out such a bad vibe. and the press dont help.
