It’s hard to believe there will be two Teknival in 15 days, especially during the election time…

As I’m out of the Teknival thing for loads of reasons,I can’t give you any advice(the only one would be :forgot about it!).

It’s sad,but “Teknival” has turned since years to a chav/binge/crime/cops thing.The Spirit of the firsts TK is long gone…It’s the badest use of freedoms you can imagine;I’m sad for all the crews who make big efforts for such a brainless crowd;those I know boycott it since years now,they prefere organizing little and safer parties.

The only positive thing is that they are so much cops there,that you’re almost free to party anywhere else.

the first flyer is for 2 weeks before 1st of may, it is a illegal one, shoudl be safe there anyway…for sure it is much smaller and friendlier than the usual one.

for the classical one of the first of may its a bit of a mess actually.

the ministry invited moderators of the soundsystem ( delegates from different parts of france ) to speak about the 1st of may. of course, it is in the interest of the ministry to make this event pass smooth, cause sarkozy is in the middleof the election at this time and still in charge of the teknival-thing.

as there is no aim to negociate from the side of the soundsystems, most of them desided after this meeting to not work with the state at all, to not create a pseudo teknival state organised but to organise a illegal one at the same time of the legal one.the funny thing is that now there is NO sound actually that want to work with the ministry and do it legal ( well there migth be few, but for the moment there is noone who want to organize a legal one with the state: back to da rootz !!

still we can be curious cause this situation migth change again untill end of april

so the flyers you see is one of a teknival in south of france middle april, and the flyer of the illegal one for the 1st of may. there is not yet any flyer or declaration about a legal 1st of may at all !!

if someones worried about the illegal bit of it, there is max participation of french sound systems, this means they are not scared and this is for a reason: sarkozy want to be elected as president and he will be in deep trouble if he will attack a bunch of french middle class kiddies….

he was president since 1995, reelcted in 2002 and basically he still could get it again, but he is not free to elect on his own wish.
