UK doesn’t have enough military power spare to invade the isle of wight, let alone a major power like Iran

i find it bizarre that people are getting worked up that Iran has taken 15 soliders prisoner from foreign waters.

put in perspective, UK and USA diposed the secular democracy that existed in Iran, even freeing Nazi collaborators to help them, and installed what was at the time the most bloody dictatorship the world had ever seen. now people who have never bothered to learn about british history point the finger at the middle east and get on their high horse about ‘the civilised world’ etc

i reckon they know we don’t have the capacity to invade, and so are takin the piss and taunting us, same with the nuclear program. anythin that ridicules the west has gotta be a good thing from their perspective (and a lot of westerners too)

yeah tis true, the west fucked over the middle east in so many different actions, and now we have the arrogance to try and “sort it out” in the name of democracy and civilisation. loada bollocks if you ask me. they’ll never beat terrorism anyway, not with this method. you cant fight an ideology and a belief with guns, everyone knows that.

iran are just fuckin with us. it’s quite a comical political statement, but harsh on the families involved of course.
