I discovered this excellent feed of Google Earth data at the weekend which allows you to monitor in real time the movements of flights across the Netherlands and the noise they make…
To get it working you’ll need the latest version of Google Earth and the following data feed…

Netherlands data feed: http://radar.vlieghinder.nl/
Once you’ve started the program and added the feed, make sure you enable the temporary location added by the feed and zoom in on the Netherlands. You should also remove some of the detail from the feed . The noise informaiton is represented by coloured tubes with numbers on which represent the level of noise recorded.
A similar feed is also available for the US although but it comes without the noise information…
