i know it’s a bit late now, but i always make sure i have the right money in a baggie so if the warden comes around i can blag it that i just forgot… having the correct money ready helps

i think the fine is likely to just be a standard fine, unless it was out of season, when they take a tougher stance, because you are affecting breeding and future stocks

Can’t remember exactly but I think you need a license for any fresh water fishing you do unless it’s your own lake/pond I suppose.

Sea fishing is a different matter.

It’s been about 15 years since the last time I went fishing though so I’m not that clued up on it.

could always just go buy a fishing licence from the p.o … turn up and depending on your blag at the time of getting caught, say you forgot it …

or go try going online, buy a one day licence and change the dates … i dunno if thatd work … just a thought like 🙂
