Anyone suggest a decent 600VA UPS which does mains conditioning?
By this I mean one which uses the batteries/inverter to smooth the incoming mains and provide a constant and clean 230V
The power in the village where I work is now all over the place – it comes in on uninsulated overhead wires (1940s style) and we’re next door to some old boy who repairs cars and every so often he uses enough motor-driven machinery to drop the voltage in my office to such a point where the router resets itself (taking down the entire LAN with it, and dropping our connection with a remote server..:yakk:)
