Even if you are within the perceived “age range” for Bebo, (and I’d agree with what others said that its for a younger group) I’d be very wary of using Bebo for discussing any sort of info that is in a legal grey area
Because its known as a younger teenagers/youths board and people tend to also put a lot of info about their schools/colleges the Bebo admins have a policy of full co-operation with the Police whenever they get the correct format of requests for information, as its a potential “child/youth protection issue” (and TBH you can’t really blame them with users as young as 11/12 on there)
I read today in our local paper that Suffolk Constabulary arrested and charged some 17 year old girl because she was using Bebo to bully someone (making a fake photo of them).
The girl ended up before Youth Court and ended up on probation, which must mean Bebo provided a significant amount of personal info to the cops (and that Suffolk have a fairly active Computer Crimes Unit)
