Do we need another I think so.

It has been 16 years and I would have done castlemorton 2 last year but I was in a spot of bother and couldn’t. So what do you all say out there, get all the free rigs together for a reunion and rejoice at the fact that its still all free to party you just have to be discrete.

IT WOULD MAKE ONE HELL OF A MAY 2008…..

HELL yea gota be done…i wos at a party about 5 years ago now it wos near bristol on a feild behind a beach near a power st..any way there were about 35 rigs all set up around a pond was propper UNBELIVEBAL!!!i got there on sat night an left mon afternoon an it was still goin full on (rigs kept ariveing an leaving so there were always atleast 30!!) spoke to a mate who was there 2 an he said he left wed an it was still goin strong!!!this is (i think) as close as weve come to another castle morton..any 1 else go???i even got invited to bring my rig along but my mate couldnt be botherd!!!!!!!:crazy_dru

that spots a beauty (tho the beach is not), :bounce_fl :bounce_fl :bounce_fl had many happy times there over the years, was glad you didn’t name it tho

TBH all tho id have loved to have gone to castle morton, i reckon if there was another one that went on for a week right near residential houses with that many rigs it would be the end of anymore parties anywhere in the uk.

UK teks are alright cause they are usually held somehwere pretty remote, but wasnt castlemorton the final straw, which got the criminal justice bill introduced?

I was at Castlemorton for all my sin’s and there was no homes apart from the farm and a couple of cottages so I say same place this year lol contact me if you have a rig…

i saw the tail end of castlemorton “the M5 festival” by all acounts Utecs are the same. The scene isnt as big as it was young folk are more happy to go watch some crappy indi band at some over priced club or bar. Thats the leval of the “underground” music scene these days…

Go for it, but expect a lot of shit afterwards. Castlemorten was fun but mainly because no one knew how big it would end up. I went as i heard a bunch of travellers were being evicted from a farm and so were holding a leaving party. No one expected it to be more than one or two rigs. Some say it was a big organised underground event but it felt more like randomly everyone just decided to turn up at the same party.
So more than possible to happen again, but probably unlikely as i don’t think there are thousands out partying every weekend.

castlemorton was so big because it was broadcasted live on national tv on the saturday afternoon news. Bankholiday weekend.

Every party goer travled and every hippy.

Thanks to the news it created the biggest party hotliner ever. (inter national style).

And i can imagine some1 at the news got the sack for the biggest screw up ever on telly.
Thats how it was so big.

I think they have learn’t by there mistake shame ,but if it happens again iam there.

Yes, Castlemorton was the last big shout of the unbridled tribes. unfortunately was also the last nail in the coffin of the old party scene cause that’s when OB started to get really organised as the whole CM thing scared the shit out of ’em. Definitely time for another!!!

ps tarifa… U think the powers that be don’t know the bristol location? hardly require a crack detective on the case!! that’s the site they let be used for precisely the reason that it is in the mid of fuckin nowhere…
