Right I make music using a Yamaha RM1x, An electribe SX and an electribe MX.

I want something new. I have an external soundcard but I never use my PC so anything PC related is a bit useless. I was thinking of a nice control surface and a Kaoss pad 3 (or a pair of KP2s second hand) but I duno.

For £400ish what would you buy?

Gotta be an Akai MPC m8 – the drum pads are worth the cash all by themselves (and for 400ish you should be able to pick up a relatively new 2500…raaa
