Party Vibe

I went to Boom a few years back (cant remember when) its a good festival, theres a beautiful lake at the site which is great to cool off in as it does get a bit warm! Its great to dance outdoors in the sunshine tho…the main dance area is outdoors and loads of cafes to chill out in in the shade. The music was good, mostly psytrance, cant recall seeing any other dance areas…but cafes usually play some good tunes as well.. I wanna go again but this year am off to Ozora festival in Hungary and the Boom festival is the weekend after and unfortunatly unable to get more time off work. 😥

I went to Anti-Boom free festival last time on the other side of the lake. I do believe Boom is pretty much a psytrance fesie. Anti boom was nuts in all sorts of ways. Yes, its hot as hell so the lake is a lifesaver. Interesting to float on a truck inner tube past massive rigs banging out Acid techno, gabba etc and seeing local Portuguese families come down and not be too phased by it all. The acid techno crews rig must be pretty well known as it was so big it could probably be seen and heard from space. Nicknamed the behemoth, the juggernaut never stopped except for genys to be refilled. Boom looked very pretty from the other side, fairly easy to swim over too. I think they may only allow people in to boom the day before it starts so Anti boom is a good place to hold up before or after.

ive heard a 7 hour swim to a 10 minute jog,

if i do go over ill stay for a day anyway so 5 hour walks no prob
