is totally a waste of money and time!
have you seen the mess they have made in china? they’ve been living in smog for months! talk about global warming, this is exactly what we dont need, all our taxes are paying for shit like this!
not only that but we are going to be a perfect target for terrorists.
where are they planning to fit it?? and what happens when people from other countries come to support there country? riots and fights everywhere… joy.
im totally against it, in fact im totally against this stupid tradition to build it in the winners country, its fucking up the enviroment. why cant they just build ONE stadium and leave it there!!!
arghhhh
not your tax, its londons tax and im happy to pay for it, not at 20% but its gonna bring a load of fun forigners over for a summer of partys
since when did rich business types who can afford to travel the world cause riots and fights?
this isn’t football, even if it was, trouble would be minimal.
yeah innit the only bad thing about this is the tubes will be cramped and it costs a little, just less money to be spent on the war on drugs innit
I really don’t think there will be riots and fights anywhere. What makes you think there will be civil disorder?
The legacy will be a shedload of brand new, state-of-the-art sport stadia in and around London which is a great thing.
I don’t have a problem with London hosting the Olympics.
I am so suprised at myself, i was a real skeptic about the Olympics, and how it has cost an approx £220 per man, woman and child to put it on – whether we wanted it or not (and I didnt!)
But I have really enjoyed it so far! raaa
Not even managed to watch my usual come dine, or hollyoaks, as its been on the house TV non stop, morning and night (esp as Marcus not been working this week)
Well done Mo and Jess! so so good!
COME ON ANDY MURRAY ………. AND LAURA ROBSON !!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
I must say the tennis still doesnt do it for me, or the horses,
or water polo,
but the rest I have really enjoyed 🙂

I actually had to look up who Laura is….. 🙂
Marcus loves the tennis, I just find it really boring…
does sir Jasper watch it? (this isnt uncommon behaviour amongst cats, who otherwise avoid television unlike dogs who will sit and watch it).
I liked the opening ceremony so much I watched it twice lol.
lots of people said it was crap, I don’t see how something intricately organised and creative could be considered crap. Even if you didn’t like the music or choreography you must appreciate the hard work gone into it.
Although I thought the chosen few hits for this decade was a bit crap..I can think of far better iconic tunes of this decade to chose.
My family I’m staying with at the moment are all really weird horsey folk. I can’t stand the equestrian stuff however I must admit the dressage is very, very clever. (tap dancing horses)

He’s been a bit unsociable since our house mate moved out last sun,
and sleeping in his room (aah!) …….. he was never allowed in there when he lived here, but I think he’s pinning
so he’s not watched the tennis but he has watch the footie 🙂 and sometimes even moved the TV so he had a better view!!
