Moving up to Norwich next month from Gloucestershire- we have thriving scenes left right n centre here, forest of dean and brizzle right on our doorstep.

So am I moving to a dead county partywise? What about legals? I’m into a bit of tek, ragga-jungle, dubstep, d&b nights without chavvies and a bit of dark psy. Any info would be much appreciated, cause i dont wanna be stuck going to cheesy clubs when i arrive!!

Also anyone near by gimmee an add on http://www.myspace.com/thetruemichaelbarrymore would be good to meet bass addicts, wreckheads, wronguns n filthy hippies alike!

only illegals are having problems at the moment. there are tons of legal events in Norwich and even a few in Suffolk. Just go on http://www.dontstayin.com and have a look..

That’s what I mean, I don’t like lisa pin up or hard house is there anything a bit gribblier you could recommend? Like is there a certain club thats good for some dirtier legals? 🙂

studio 3, some club in yarmouth which i cant remember and a few others do some allright nights, most will probaly get advertised here if you keep watching.

norfolks abit fucked for illegals atm though but i reckon it should pick up again once rig crews get abit wiser instead of using same locations an meet points. and once the police move onto different mattersing a good time instead of trying to stop people having a good time.

Keep an eye out for the Amen-tal crew in Norwich, wicked bunch of lads and play awesome jungle + breakcore.

Luna-C is playing in the Queen Charlotte on fri 23rd. Mayhem nights in Yarmouth suppossed to be pretty good.

Plenty of good nights, just no parties atm. (afaik)

I’ve been partying around Norwich for a few years and havn’t come across that sort of thing yet (thankfully)

Norwich has some good underground nights on offer but it’s fair share of cheese/r ‘n’b and crap commercial hip hop. Just stay clear of the main strip (Prince of Wales) if I were you. Although saying that, There are a few decent D ‘N’ B nights which pass through every few months or so.

There are a few decent clubs in town where you’ll find some decent breaks and roots but the more underground stuff is generally found at pub nights outside of the inner ringroad.

The Queen Charlotte on Dereham road or the Cricketers rest is a good place to start. Normally some decent rigs with tunage about.

As someone else said, Amental are wkd!

if you like a bit of root’s reggae n ting – Roots Renegade have loads of nights at the Queen Charlotte – there in our top friends somewhere

as for anything else i regularly frequent there aint much which strays too far from the cheese lines you speak of… just a case of looking out for good act’s n nights that pop up – which they do…..sometimes….

You should check out mustard lounge they have some good nights on and like everyone said mayhem at the arena is also a good one you just have to keep your eyes open.
