hello mate, there was no problems with OB/Licensing it was all romours,

i tell you what whoever started it should get in to the promoting business as that spreaded far 🙂

I suspect a routine licensing check (usually only two bobbies in full uniform checking the numbers, maybe asking young looking people for ID and making sure people aren’t totally bait with drugs in the car park) got “talked up” by the paranoid into rumours of something like a full scale raid…

if TVP or any other constabulary put a closure order on a night time venue they don’t do it “covertly”, it will be all over the local papers and the police and Council websites so as to make an example of others and I expect a fair few of us would have noticed it.

My local force (Suffolk Constabulary) put a disorder closure order on their own staff bar after the bobbies and PCSOs had fisticuffs after an argument at their Xmas party last year :laugh_at:
